Description of Training
Module 1: Running Effective Meetings and the Art of Sociocracy (16 hours)
Context: tools and processes used within the framework of a meeting
Role and skills covered: facilitator and notetaker
Participants learn to design and run meetings in power-with inclusive environments, manage group dynamics, as well as resolve objections and tensions.

FACILITATOR CERTIFICATION
GovernanceAlive is a certifying agency under ISCB (International Sociocracy Certification Board) and offers a competence-based Facilitator Certification program.
Requirements for certification:
- Complete Module 1 – Running Effective Meetings and the Art of Sociocracy
- Join and attend at least 10 peer group meetings
- Complete Module 2: Co-Working in Self-Determined Teams
- Facilitate at least 10 meetings and submit a Facilitation Report on each of them
- Prepare a Certification Report (using the 10 Facilitation Reports)
- Attend a competence based certification interview
