As Executive Director of The HANDLE Institute, I have been working hand in hand with the GovernanceAlive team to implement the collaborative tools of Sociocracy throughout our organization.  Over the last eighteen months, I have been seated in multiple types of meetings, from exploratory sessions, strategic planning, implementation planning, mentoring, and training courses – all expertly facilitated by Monika or Whitney, with the backing of John.  Our organization is filled with passionate and knowledgeable systemic thinkers yet didn’t hold the tools to remain sustainable prior to reorganizing under the tutelage of GovernanceAlive.  Collaboration and strengthening of our organization could be palpated as we moved toward an organization of equivalence.  Through the ingenious and multi-faceted system of sociocratic governance as modeled by Whitney and Monika, our organization began to flourish, and attract increased membership involvement, efficiency, collaboration, and joy.  Through the care, compassion and expertise of John, Monika and Whitney, The HANDLE Institute is reporting our successful implementation of Sociocracy Governance within our international organization with a solid strategic plan of growth and sustainability.  Governance Alive is our catalyst for success.
